What did you do before Stern?
Prior to Stern I was an Army Officer stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.

What was your role? I worked with Walt Disney Imagineering's Operations Finance Department.

What were your responsibilities? I spent the summer developing and implementing a forecasting model for Disney's theme park projects using R, SAP, and Excel to accurately forecast future cash flows and resource requirements, optimizing financial planning and resource allocation strategies. This role was absolutely full of Disney magic.

How did you spend your time preparing for recruiting and interviews? To prepare for recruiting, I talked to Alumni who currently work full-time at Disney, researched current projects, and identified what exact value I could bring to the company through this role.

What experiences (if any) helped prepare you for this internship? I prepared for the role by refreshing my modeling skills and talking with previous graduate interns.

What was the best advice you received during the recruiting process? Stay positive and be yourself. Choose roles that You are genuinely interested in, and make sure the employer knows why you are genuinely interested.

Movie/TV recommendations: My favorite TV show of all time is The Office. I love all movies, so I recommend getting one of the subscription plans for movie theaters.
