Title: MBA Commercial Intern - Subscriptions (Summer 2022)

What department did you work for?
Commercial - Subscriptions. I worked on the EA Play team, which is EA's subscription gaming service!

It was cool team because 1) subscriptions is a hot topic right now and 2) we got to work with games from all genres (sports, RPG, etc.!)

What projects did you work on this summer?
I worked to create a "Subscription Services Best Practice Framework" and delivered recommendations that would enhance the player journey on each of EA Play's platforms.

I also interviewed various cross-functional teams to map out a complete process flow for how the various teams work together. Using that process flow, I then started to migrate certain processes to Airtable (a very cool excel + database tool).

Any advice?
Even if you don't think you are a "gamer" still apply or look into EA! "Gamer" is really a much broader category than I originally thought. For example, I am a gamer because I play Wordle every single morning and like the SIMS!

Also, don't stress (too much) about the timing of finding an internship, at the end of April things move so quickly!
